Education is the foundation for a country, community, and an individual to build an everlasting affect. Through education societies are able to advance. We have seen amazing advancements in our society in technology, health and services, manufacturing, and just about every industry in just the last 20 years. As educators it is our charge to continue to facilitate learning and recognize we are only bound by our imagination.
My personal philosophy of education is to be more of a facilitator of learning than an instructor. I like to guide more than dictate. Everyone learns at their own speed and in their own way. As an educator it is my goal to help uncover, engage, and excite others with learning. I focus on the facilitation of learning in a way that is engaging, exciting, and motivating.
As effective educators we must utilize research based proven strategies to encourage and engage students in order to improve academic performance. The strategies utilized must motivate and peak students’ curiosity and their desire to become lifelong learners.
